There are many Anglicans, according to statistics there are 75 million people around the World. Among them are the Methodists as well as among the Anglicans. In liturgy there are of "high" and "low" currents (the former is in domination nowadays). But there is another group which completely denies liturgy heritage at all. Being pietistic movement Methodism gets under the influence of German pietism and especially of Moravian one. In return, Methodism became the Church of Holiness. For example, the motto like "Jesus is the only redeemer" appeared exactly in the Methodist Church. There is quite peculiar treat of that Church which is annual Service of Agreement. Every year each person of the Church refreshes his or her "agreement" with God. It is done with accordance of Wesley's will. Communion in return is done with the help of grape juice and not with wine. The hierarchical structure of this religion is also quite curious. Methodist Church's doctrine constitutes Holiness of all the believers, and only some of them are destined for service in the Church. Their spiritual responsibility is in sermon of Evangeline, administering Sacrament and spiritual faith to Jesus. Those preachers do not constitute special hierarchy of the Church. However, a person who does not have consecration which every person at service must have he would never becomes a preacher of that Church. In many countries it is the bishop who does consecration of preachers. First independent consecration with the right of a bishop conducted Wesley in 1784. It was right after the event in which he failed to get the Anglican Church to do consecration of his aspirants. According to the Methodism theology the Church has its apostolic heritage. But in comparison to traditional doctrine the Methodists think that this heritage is passed directly via preachers and that person might not even have special rank. There is a legend that Wesley was consecrated by an orthodox bishop Erasmus the Arcadian who were in England in 1764. There are sources that Erasmus really was in the Methodist Church and made consecration to certain Methodist preachers.
